GRANDPA

This poor cat was found living in a crumbled, damp box last winter, most of the skin on his belly, head and legs were covered in sores. At the time, he looked so old we named him Grandpa, but in reality, he's only 5 or 6 years young! With the help of our regular veterinarian and the generosity of a dermatologist who's taken an interest in this case, we've discovered Grandpa's problem is a rare and severe allergic dermatitis. Expensive medications have worked, but their long-term effects are less than desirable - Grandpa is too young and too nice a cat to have his life shortened this way. A simple blood test later, we find out Grandpa is allergic to 26 different environmental allergens. A specially mixed serum, given as a series of painless injections, will enable Grandpa to wean off toxic medication and begin living a normal life.
